More adventure - 5/31/15

It was raining much of the early part of the day, so I despaired of getting a ride in. But by mid-afternoon the rain had stopped, and though it was still cool, I figured I could still go fine. But a different fate awaited me. I pulled trike out, sat down to go, and the center joint collapsed on me with a loud SNAP as it had at Gallup Park back on May 9.  I was not pleased to determine that, evidently, when assembling it after my return from the park yesterday, I hadn't gotten that joint fastened securely, but I figured I'd just hop back up and take care of it. However, dismay filled me as I witnessed loose parts on the ground, and so, knowing I could not repair it myself, I resigned myself to still another trip to Dearborn tomorrow.
