15th ride - 5/19/15

This morning I enjoyed riding with my friend Kristian Frikke-Schmidt. He and his family are here from Denmark originally—I think they hope to stay permanently, but it has not yet been made definite. We met them through church; I was so pleased when he messaged me last night on Facebook to ask if I'd like to ride together.

It is substantially cooler today than yesterday (about 20°) so that a hoodie felt really good. We rode down to Stonebridge, did 3 loops there, and then went down the Lohr-Textile Greenway as far as Silo Ridge before turning around and returning to my home, for a total ride of 13.3 miles in 1 hour and 17 minutes. And, best of all, it was all trouble-free today! I did feel bad for him that I was unable to converse with him clearly, but I think we both enjoyed it anyway.
