6th ride - 5/7/15
On an absolutely gorgeous spring morning, I rode 8.4 miles in 59 minutes (relatively slow), going down the Lohr-Textile Greenway as far as Woodland, and then coming back up, crossing Lohr at the first walkway into the Lohr Lake subdivision, rode around a little in there and exited down at Textile, and then came home. In the six days since I was able to resume riding, I've been employing an abundance of caution —and, thanks be to God, I've experienced no problems of any kind so far. Like yesterday, I hope to supplement this morning ride with another in the late afternoon.
Late this afternoon (after the Tigers' victory!) I went out and did a short ride—so short as to hardly seem worth it. But I figured that a short ride was better than no ride at all. However, I was riding for only 19 minutes, to do a 2.4 mile route that Michelle and I call the JewelHeart Loop, because it passes a Buddhist temple named JewelHeart (reminding us that we are in Ann Arbor and no longer in our home towns in rural Michigan).
