I am so grateful to Michelle for allowing me to ride near our home, as it made today's ride MUCH easier. After first successfully negotiating the significant hurdle of reassembling the trike, made necessary by our having to fold in to transport it in the car yesterday, I did my longest one to date, about 11.2 miles in an hour and 19 minutes, riding down to Saline High School -- and best of all, it was completely problem-free, as I was able to do the whole ride off-road (on trails and walks). All, that is, except for a brief portion of about 100 feet when I got down to Saline High and the sidewalk ran out. But, riding there at midday, the roads were deserted, and I was able to quickly and easily turn around and get back on the walk headed home.
