144th ride - 10/29/2015

This morning I went out and rode in unpleasant conditions—cold (40° when I finished, at 10:15), and windy (a steady 14 mph WSW wind). I managed a round trip to Marsh Park before cashing it in and deciding to do a second ride later in the day, hoping the weather will be better, and finishing this 9.5-mile ride in 59 minutes.

THURSDAY AFTERNOON

Well, it the conditions did not improve one bit between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. today. It was precisely as cold and just as windy, both according to the way it felt on my body, and to the reporting of weather.com. Nevertheless, I pushed myself out the door to do another Marsh Park round trip, this time a minute faster, in 58 minutes, for a daily total of 19 miles in 1 hour and 57 minutes.
