After a virtually unheard of two straight days off, I was happy to get back to riding today, and in beautiful fall sunshine I did three consecutive round trips to Marsh Park. It was cool, but not cold (in the fifties when I started, a bit past 9:00, and 64° when I finished), so that a sweatshirt over a turtleneck felt good. But it was much warmer today than yesterday!
With the rest I had accumulated, I was able to push myself at a pretty healthy pace, and smashed my old record for that route. I had done it on June 26 in about 2:34, and today I turned it in 2:14:28.
