143rd ride - 10/28/2015

I celebrated John's 29th birthday today with a late, short ride. This morning, they were calling for daylong rain, so I went to LA Fitness and worked out on the stationary bike, after dropping Michelle off at school. But then, by late afternoon it had cleared enough to permit a ride, so after picking her up and getting her home, I went out, keeping it short. I rode south on the asphalt trail I ride, the Lohr-Textile Greenway, as far as Textile Rd.; but then, rather than turning east and riding to Marsh Park as I usually do, I turned west on the Greenway instead and went as far as it goes (not very), to Woodland Drive, where I wheeled around and headed back home, completing a 7-mile ride in 40 minutes even.
