92nd ride - 8/19/2015

This morning I rode consecutive round trips to Marsh Park (17.5 miles) in 2 hours 8 minutes. I was trying to play mind games with myself, and demand that if I wanted to do that 40-mile ride in New York City next spring (the Five Boro Tour, an annual event since 1977, where they close the roads off in the city to allow 32,000 cyclists to ride through Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Bronx, and finish on Staten Island) with my friends Eric and Mari Veenstra, I had to keep building up my stamina, and I had to do three round trips today. But in the end, I caved in to the heat that is still with us (79° currently, and humid)
