When I set out at 6:50 a.m. today (with my headlight flashing), it was with deliberately modest intent—I wanted to do consecutive round trips to Marsh Park for the first time since August 1 (when I did four of them). In this hope I was successful, completing the two trips (17.5 miles) slowly in 2 hours and 10 minutes.
It was interesting, though, to note a coolness in the air—and this presaged, for the first time, the fall which is rapidly approaching us. (As I told Michelle last night, the Tigers have done so poorly this year, I'm almost glad that football season is about to succeed baseball season!)
