Well, winter is clearly back. That much was quite evident from the gray gloomy skies under which I rode early this afternoon, with light snow and a temperature of 30° (wind-chill of 22).
The weather slowed me, as I did my 10 miles in 1 hour and 8 minutes. But despite the weather, it was a great joy to ride with my newly stabilized seat—the wobble that has plagued me since early last summer now entirely absent, due to this week's repairs. For that, I have to thank the capable help of Jack's Bicycle in Dearborn, as well as last week's diagnostic assistance of my friend Doug Tidd, who is the one that got me started riding, after all (back in 2012).
